After growing up in Texas, Georgia and western Pennsylvania, Bill channeled his interests into public health at Penn State. Two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia honed his passion for international work. Graduate school at Tulane University (MBA) in New Orleans prepared him for a career in the U.S. Foreign Service where he specialized in economic development in Africa and south Asia. The mystique of the blue mountains and Mr. Jefferson's aura drew Bill and family to Charlottesville after an eventful career overseas. "The Charlottesville area sells itself," Bill says. "My job is to make looking for country property fun and easy for my clients. And for clients with property to sell, to lend specific expertise for country properties outside of subdivisions."
