Emily has experience buying, selling, and building her own home and is excited to help new and veteran homeowners through their own journey.
Although a native of California, Emily has called Charlottesville home since 2003. Emily is a “triple Hoo” with degrees from UVA in American government, teaching, and education administration and supervision. She has worked at schools in Albemarle, Orange, and Greene, and her knowledge of these communities helps clients find homes where they are excited to raise a family. When not helping clients, you can find her cheering on the Wahoos or heading out for a run on the Rivanna Trail with her husband, Mike. She is organized, detail-oriented, and well-equipped to manage the complexities of buying or selling a home.

Emily is beyond knowledgeable of the Charlottesville area, and has a great eye for items to look out for when touring, so she helps make the purchase process as stress free as possible. With that, this particular purchase had a very quick closing, but Emily was able to pull strings with her many contacts so we could still get it inspected in time. This meant being available to tour properties with us and share information about the properties that wasn’t on the listing given her knowledge of the neighborhoods and market. When we pivoted to looking at lots she was our expert every step of the way, attending meetings when we couldn’t and being our advocate. If it wasn’t for her we don't believe the process would have been as seamless. Highly recommend and plan to use in the future.
