Briarwood consists of a variety of different townhome styles, including row homes and duplexes. Although the majority of Briarwood townhomes were built in the 1980s and 1990s, there are some newer townhomes constructed around 2003. Many of these Albemarle County homes front porches, while some have garages. Briarwood continues to be an affordable Albemarle County real estate option along the northern corridor.
