Located on the eastern edge of the City of Charlottesville, Woolen Mills is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. The majority of Woolen Mills homes are single family residential. However, there is a small mix of other residential housing and some light industrial zoning. Residents are near Meade Park, which has a new pool and other recreational features, the Rivanna Trail, and Riverview Park. The Downtown Mall is just a few blocks away and additional shopping and dining options in the Pantops area are just a short drive away.
