Dr. Tucker house, c. 1820. An architectural treasure awaiting restoration, located in historic buckingham courthouse. Jeffersonian influences, well-proportioned rooms, 7 fireplaces, original mantels and flooring. The home still possesses a rare accordion roof on the west wing, believed to be the only surviving example. The brickwork on the facade still retains its original federal penciling on the mortar joints. This is an incredible opportunity to restore a significant historic structure.
