Good Time To Buy?

So I’ll go on the record and say that I’m not a fan of the NAR publicity/advertising campaigns claiming, “It’s a great time to buy!” However, the National Automobile Dealers Association thought it was a pretty slick campaign because the auto industry has jumped on board with one of their own “it’s a great time to buy” campaigns.

Here’s the question I have for both the NAR and the auto industry: how do you know?

Nest Market Report: Old Trail 2008

2008 was an interesting year for Old Trail. On one hand, the number of sales dropped for the 3rd straight year. On the other hand, there was an increase in the number of single family home sales. On a similar positive note, there were 2 home sales over $1,000,000 ($1,200,000 and $1,030,000) and 1 just under $1m ($999,000). So, although sales were down and Days On Market almost doubled, there are some positive signs.
