Longest Adventure:

Living/working on a charter sailboat in the Caribbean for three years during winters, and sailing up to do same out of Newport, Rhode Island, during summers.

Celebrity Meeting I'll Never Forget:

Robin Williams. He co-starred in a play called Benghal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo with a family friend. She invited me to meet him backstage.

Things I Love to Do:

Yoga, gardening, skiing, cooking and hosting dinner parties, hearing live music, playing in ocean waves.

    We have a home in Coconut Grove Florida and was looking on Zillow website for another property in Asheville NC. We found a home on the Zillow website that my wife and I both loved and contacted the agent and this was our first contact with Adrienne Crowther. Adrienne offered the next week of her time to spend time with us to look at homes and this is when our Asheville experience started. We looked at several properties and ended up purchasing the first one that we enquired about. The experience with Adrienne was perfect. There was no pressure and she was always friendly and accommodating with our schedule. I would highly recommend Adrienne for the purchase of your next home or property.

    Adrienne acted as a dual agent on a house I found in Leicester when perusing Zillow and she was wonderful. I was moving from three hours away and I needed contractors to do a number of things before I moved in and she met with many of them for me to save me the trip to get quotes, etc. She was very responsive in communication and so easy to work with. I adore the house and the necessary work was able to get finished before I moved in thanks to Adrienne.

She addressed every aspect of our search to find a home that suited our needs, specifically one that accommodated less maintenance and fewer steps.Adrienne is exceptionally familiar with Asheville’s real estate market especially during an extraordinarily active real estate market. Her search for the right home for us was incredibly timely. We were able to purchase our new home because of her vigilance to her clients!     We set off on two tracks: property to build a house vs. an already built house. We met Adrienne first at a property for sale. After clambering on all-fours up the slope to find a likely build site we agreed, She's ready for the challenge. Several other gradient-challenging sites followed. Most importantly, Adrienne provided guidance on what to expect regarding time to begin construction and time to move-in, given the construction market at the time. On the other hand, whilst touring houses for sale, Adrienne could answer questions about estimated remodeling costs, reputable contractors, and what to expect in a competitive real estate market. We did purchase an house in an established neighborhood–it combined an earlier move-in timeline plus the attractive wooded knolls from the very first meeting. When time came to sell our previous house, the recommendations from Adrienne never questioned. The household sold the first day on the market. We do not consider ourselves savvy in the enterprise of real estate transactions. We are fortunate to have the kindness, care and professional considerations of Adrienne.

    We were first time home buyers and Adrienne helped us tremendously with guiding us through the entire process. She was willing to work with our schedule for viewing properties and she was flexible when we needed to change plans last minute. Adrienne also had great recommendations for inspectors, contractors, lawyers, etc. Overall we worked with Adrienne for a little over 4 months and through it all Adrienne was responsive, friendly, and overall encouraging. I would recommend Adrienne to anyone looking to buy a house in the Asheville area.
