Originally from Atlanta, Jen and her family made the move to Asheville in 2013 and quickly fell in love with the area’s unique mix of city and mountain life. Her creative background in the arts and entrepreneurship combined with a love for camping, hiking, and family adventure enabled Jen to cultivate relationships and put down roots in the community.

Before joining the team at Nest, Jen served as Editor and Social Media Manager at RomanticAsheville.com, one of the most visited online travel guides in the Southeast. She collaborated with counties across Western NC promoting the region’s unique small towns, outdoor things to do, festivals, and more. She worked with iconic Asheville attractions like Biltmore and Omni Grove Park Inn promoting packages, specials, and events. Her work with the National and State Parks and Forests in the area helped promote responsible and safe exploration of the area, along with “Leave No Trace” initiatives.

Prior to that Jen co-created Asheville Date Night Guide, a fun and quirky online resource for unique dates and experiences in the Asheville area.

With 8+ years of local brand and marketing experience, Jen strives to bring her unique knowledge and enthusiasm for the region to her work- with a focus on authentic, experience-based marketing solutions.

When she’s not working, you can find Jen tackling home projects, making her kids laugh, hiking with her dogs, tinkering in her garden, and meeting up with friends at her favorite spots around town.
