She and team members showed several listings to me, responding immediately with showings (usually same day if available). Her team contacted me daily through the buying process and made sure I was keenly aware of the next step. They are courteous, prompt, and professional, making sure the process is expedited, that the buyer is protected, and that all the documents are in order in a timely manner. Her team puts the buyer at ease all the way to closing and even beyond! They suggested contractors to help with remodeling—all were efficient, reasonable and did high quality work. Madelyn and her team are above and beyond the best in the business! From the very first phone call to well after closing, Madelyn’s team has been very easy to work with. My husband and I were looking for a vacation home out of state and they made the process stress free. Her team really listened to what we were looking for and what was important to us in a home. If we weren’t able to be in person to look at homes, they eagerly went and videoed for us. They knew what we were looking for well enough to know when the perfect house came along. Madelyn’s team, Andrew and Aubrey, walked us through the whole process of inspections, negotiations and finally closing and made it happen smoothly and pretty much stress free. We have bought and sold multiple houses before and never have we experienced this amount of professionalism, knowledge, ease of communication and just a genuine feeling of having this awesome team wanting nothing but the best for us.

Unfortunately Madelyn was more talk than action. I was trying to purchase a home remotely from the other side of the country and Madelyn sounded perfect because she claims to specialize in relocation clients. I came across my dream home and in my price range , with room to negotiate higher. I gave her the address to schedule a viewing within an hour of the house coming up for sale. She then proceeded to say she will get a viewing scheduled. Then she ghosted me ... never heard from her again. The house sold within a day or two and I lost my dream home. I never even got the opportunity to compete with the other buyers. I am proud to say I am a home owner now , thanks to another agent and NOT because of Madelyn.

Madelyn is the real deal as a realtor and a person. She was our buyer’s agent and she was open and transparent with us. She was laid back and didn’t shove a buyer’s contract at us to sign. She worked more on a trust/faith relationship with us and didn’t want us to feel obligated to stay with her. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows her stuff! She’s not afraid to get dirty either; she has no problem going under crawl spaces to check things out thoroughly! She’s awesome and would highly recommend her! Moving cross-country was challenging. Downsizing was challenging. Finding and trusting the right people to help you successfully accomplish an out-of-state transition seemed impossible. And then we met Maddie and Andrew Niemeyer of Nest Realty. Madelyn and Andrew are articulate, intelligent, compassionate, and have more integrity than anyone in sales that we have ever encountered. Allow me to site some examples:1.) We were retiring, but not with a specific timeline. We were trying to sell our business and home 1,000 miles from where we were hoping to live in Western NC, and had no idea how long that would take, or truthfully what the proceeds would be. Madelyn and Andrew treated our situation as if it didn't matter to them at all if it took 3 months for us to be able to buy a house, or 3 years. (And not because we were "big" buyers. The home we would ultimately buy cost less than 350K.) We shopped for homes with them in August 2018, then 6 months later, and yet another time 3 months after that before we made the purchase.2.) When buying in WNC, your won't be short on options for realtors. But beware, and check reviews and referrals!! Madelyn and Andrew are not phased by the sometimes remote areas of WNC, and their knowledge of the area paid off for us. They knew the ins-and-outs of every town/neighborhood where we were looking, and when they weren't sure, they knew people who could answer our questions (which were many!) and they got me answers.3.) My calls to Andrew and Madelyn were more than a few. I tried so hard to not bombard them with constant calls (and results of Zillow findings!) but they never seemed to be bothered, and they ALWAYS responded. After several days of house hunting (the 3rd time!) I had given up on one particular house because it seemed too far away. The next day, Andrew told me we were gonna go there; that we didn't want to miss out on what might be right for us. And guess what? It was the right house for us. Without him taking the lead and convincing me we needed to make the extra effort, I would have never seen this fabulous house that we now call home. 4.) I will forever be grateful for the integrity of Andrew when he sat me down and specifically asked me the "hard" questions about the area we chose. (Somewhat remote by some people's standards.) He gently reminded me of the road hazards in bad weather. He talked to me about the need to be prepared for winter by researching generators and even cars! (Yes, we bought the car he told us to buy!) He even made sure I knew that the nearest grocery store was 20+ minutes away! I knew then that these two really CARE about their clients. They are not concerned with how fast they can get their 3% and move on to the next client. 5.) We had a few hiccups in the contract/closing process. Madelyn can crack a whip. She didn't back down, and she had our best intentions every single time. At the end of the day, THEY got it done, and we are in a home that we couldn't possibly love more. And we owe it all to Andrew and Madelyn. Just meet this beautiful kind husband/wife team. You will not find another couple of realtors in WNC who can get the job done so efficiently. And when it's all over, and the contracts are signed, you will want to be friends forever. That just doesn't happen in this business very often.
