Suzanne grew up in Asheville and is passionate about our thriving city and beautiful mountains. She has more than 30 years of professional experience. Her technical and communication skills, involvement in volunteer organizations, and knowledge provide her clients with a valued perspective on the area and the many diverse communities which make Asheville such a great place to live, work, and play. Suzanne holds professional engineering, general contracting, and real estate brokerage licenses. She graduated with a B.S. and M.S. from NCSU. Her personal interests are running, the arts, traveling, languages (French, Turkish, and Spanish), Asheville’s Downtown, gardening, exchange programs, greenway and trail development, parks and recreation, and enjoying life in Asheville with her wonderful husband and children.

Suzanne listened to us and because she did, she was able to guide us to the type of home we really wanted and needed. Suzanne spent a lot of time in the beginning, carefully listening to us and asking us many questions to make sure that she knew exactly what we wanted. Then she curated houses that had just come on the market for us. She did not bother us with houses that were not within our parameters, which was great - she didn't waste our time! She is everything you want in a real estate agent: fast responding, knowledgable in all areas of real estate (not just buying -- staging, construction, etc.), a go getter, honest and will fight for you. We were out of state buyers and had limited time to see what Asheville had to offer while visiting for a week. Before our trip we were offered a lot of advice, warned of the crazy market, and given options to see while we were there. A few days before we arrived we narrowed down, saw 13 in one day and of those 13 I believe 5 were already under contract -- within a few days! We found the house we purchased on the last day of our visit and won it with her aggressive current market strategies to get our offer taken seriously. But that's not it -- even after the contracts were underway, her advice and help throughout was invaluable since we were not there to go to the inspection, walk through, etc. She went WAY above and beyond her duties and I'm proud to say we will be using her again and refer ANYONE looking to buy in the Asheville area. -

She educated us on all the Asheville neighborhoods and their pros and cons, along with guiding us on good local contractors for home renovations. She was with us every step of the way, providing guidance on local mortgage officers, helping negotiate a good price and later price reductions from the sellers when issues were found, and throughout the closing process. Super friendly and personable as well. We can't recommend Suzanne highly enough!
