Seller's Scoop

  • View: I have several favorite views of our home. The flower mound in full bloom with the Japanese Maple is hard to beat! Sitting on the screened in porch at night watching the moon rise is also pretty amazing..
  • Room: On the screened in porch, listening to music, enjoying a glass of wine, playing cards.
  • Tree: The Japanese maple in the front yard and Bradford Pear Tree when it blooms are my favorites. We also enjoyed decorating the pine tree in the front yard for the holidays.
  • Walk: Loved to walk our dogs around the block and adjacent neighborhood...
  • Hike: There are so many hidden gems north of Asheville that most do not really know about... Explore hiking near Burnsville. It is beautiful and not far. The house is also close to skiing in the winter and several area lakes.
  • Breakfast: We love going to The Stoney Knob Cafe for brunch. It is located across the street from a dog park which is super fun on a Sunday afternoon.
  • Lunch: Twisted Laurel is great.
  • Dinner: Twisted Laurel or Soba (sushi)
  • Pub/Winery: Twisted Laurel
  • Living Here Has Been: Living in our home has been a wonderful place to raise a child in high school and provided plenty of room for entertaining family/friends. We loved spending time downstairs in the game room and evenings on the screened in porch. Our neighbors are wonderful families who are friendly and fun to socialize with on occasion. We love being close to downtown Weaverville and only 15-20 minutes from Asheville.
