Named after Revolutionary War hero John Milton, the City of Milton is located just north of Alpharetta. It was incorporated into Fulton County in 2006 and has a population of around 38,000 residents. With parks, historic sites, and many community events, it has an involved and friendly resident community.

Rich in Community: This affluent city prides itself on community spirit and hosts many events throughout the year, such as the Crabapple Fest. It also encourages community involvement, with regularly scheduled commission, committee, and workshop meetings on a variety of topics.

Outdoor Opportunities: Among other amenities, Milton features Providence Park. This former Fulton County park closed in 2004 and was subsequently acquired by the city and reopened in 2016. Within its 42 acres, it contains two hiking loops, one of which includes a lake, and the other of which offers stream crossings and a quarry overlook.

This open-air pavilion hosts a handful of community events, such as a weekly farmer's market, the Milton Hometown Jubilee, and Christmas in Crabapple. It features a fireplace, restrooms, and storage, and is a popular place for visitors and residents of Milton to gather and relax.
