Westside

The Westside area of Atlanta comprises many historic neighborhoods, including Bankhead, Rockdale, Carver Hills, Collier Heights, and Grove Park, among others. Bounded by the Chattahoochee River to the north, I-20 to the south, I-285 to the west, and Downtown Atlanta to the east, this colloquially defined area was originally developed in the 19th century as an industrial hub.

Scofflaw Brewing Company

Scofflaw Brewing Company playfully tips its hat to prohibition and independence with everything from its beer to its name. Coined in 1924, the word "scofflaw" is used to describe a person who breaks the law or does something their own way. It seems that their desire to do things their own way pays off; in their first several years they have earned accolades as one of the "best new craft breweries in Atlanta," and "one of the top 10 new breweries in the world." Located in an industrial area on the Westside, the brewery also includes a taproom and a patio.
