Overview of the 2018 Housing Market
2018 saw continued growth and stability in the Asheville Area housing market. While inventory remained low, overall sales volume continued to reach record levels for our market. With increased sales prices, and decreased days on the market, sellers in the market remained confident throughout 2018. Buyers saw prices increasing but were able to leverage a national slowing of the housing market in their favor.
Our Nesters closed over 300 transactions in 2018 with over 97 million in sales and earned a market share of almost 20% in the Asheville area. Our team grew to 29 Realtors and staff who are enjoying our beautiful new office at 339 Merrimon Ave., Asheville, NC 28801. Please stop by and see our new digs!
