Create a space your guests will want to visit!
Visitors can bring warmth and laughter to our homes, especially over the holidays. So carving out a cozy space for them to rest comfortably will make the memories even sweeter. After you’ve removed the treadmill, kid’s toys, and extra winter coats from the closet (we’ve all been there)…here are a few special elements you can add to make their stay even more memorable:
Treat their feet.
Offer these slippers as a take-home gift, and confirm your standing as the best host ever!
Wink Eye House Slippers, $15, etsy.com/shop/TheSleepyCottage
Sleep soundly.
Allow your guests to escape the sleep-interupting light of a digital alarm clock.
Charlie Gold Alarm Clock, $29, cb2.com
Don’t forget Fido!
Spoil your furry guests with a fluffy dog bed and treats in a sealed container so they stay fresh. Give the doggies Greenies dental treats, and not only will they be happy, but their breath will be minty fresh—double win! Chewy.com
Bonus Ideas:
• Extra pillows and blankets
• Fresh linen sheets
• Freshly trimmed greenery in a simple vase
• A tea tray: electric tea kettle, mugs, and tea bags
• Handwritten welcome note
• Light reading material…like NEST Magazine (wink, wink!)

Great article!! I have been updating my guest room prepping for many guests this summer! I found that the most important aspect of a guest room is to have a comfortable bed and suitable storage for luggage!
