We’ve had a few eyebrows raised over the last year since we launched Nest Property Management. Why? We really haven’t had a fully functional web site.
That all changed over the weekend.
After about a year of strategizing and brainstorming (including the last 5 months of hardcore planning), we launched our Charlottesville property management site on Friday.
Why did it take us so long to get our site up and running? We wanted to do it right.
We researched, planned, brainstormed, did more research, did some more planning and eventually developed a web site that we think is the best property management and rental search web site around.
At the core, this site is a tool for renters looking to find the perfect home. Home search is the centerpiece – you’ll notice that it jumps out at you on the home page. The search functionality is relatively simple. We have five main search variables: housing type, bedrooms, bathrooms, price, and availability date. The way we set up the search allows you to pick your main search criteria (type, beds, and baths) and then easily refine those results to expand or contract the results (your ‘matches’, as we like to call them).
Potential renters can also explore the different areas and neighborhoods of Charlottesville. But we didn’t want the same old, typical area descriptions. Instead, we decided to have our Charlottesville Realtors help define each area by describing their favorite places, restaurants, and venues. The ‘Nest Picks‘ include our favorite sandwich shops, dinner venues, or places to go in each area of the Charlottesville region.
Lastly, this site was built using responsive design. In other words, the site’s experience and layout adapts based on the type of device the user is viewing the site. So, whether you’re on a desktop, iPad, or mobile device, you’ll have the ability to search for a rental in Crozet or learn more about Nest Property Management.
In the end, we think you’ll appreciate the design focus and level of thought that went into the planning and creation of this site. You can be sure that this is the same level of thought and care that you’ll receive if you trust us to manage your property.
