We recently introduced you to to Lochlyn Hill, Charlottesville’s newest community. Located just minutes from downtown Charlottesville, the community blends nature and convenience. The very first home, crafted by Bramante Homes, has now been completed.
We chatted with Mark and Christopher Brement of Bramante Homes to learn more about their decision to build in Lochlyn Hill. Having built several homes in Old Trail, the popular community in Crozet, they were excited to further their home offerings in Albemarle County. They’ve found that building easy living homes within these new urban designed communities is helpful for their clients. They understand and embrace the Lochlyn Hill vision for a inspired in-town living. Bramante has committed to purchasing several lots, with the home at 925 Lochlyn Hill Lane being the first completed.
For this first home, they executed a farmhouse style home with a wrap-around porch to take advantage of the lovely views. As with every Bramante home, great attention was paid to detail and craftsmanship. The energy efficient home received a HERS Rating of 53, an impressive 50% more efficient than the average new home in the U.S. The lower the rating, the greater the efficiency. The five bedroom home features an open floor plan and first floor guest suite.
