In this installment, we chat with agent Cindy Young, a Broker with Nest Realty in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! How did you get into real estate?
Cindy Young: Since I was a child, I have always wanted to pursue real estate. My father was a real estate coach, so it’s in my blood.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
CY: I sold high end jewelry. Helping people in one of the most special moments of their lives and finding exactly what they want is most satisfying for me.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
CY: Nest was a natural fit for me. I love all their personal touchpoints and their family-friendly oriented and fun atmosphere.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
CY: I have worked the last three years in new construction and sales.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
CY: I go above and beyond for all my clients. I get to know them so well, they become family.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
CY: Energetic, happy, motivated, caring, and creative.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
CY: Channing Tatum.
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
CY: There’s no such thing as a perfect house, but I will help you narrow down the must haves and strategize what we can do to make it that perfect house!
NR: What is your favorite season in Wilmington?
CY: Hands down, summertime!
