In this installment, we chat with Emily Luther, a Broker at Nest Realty Wilmington.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Wilmington?
Emily Luther: Originally from Virginia, I moved to the NC coast during college and have not been able to leave this beautiful area!
NR: How did you get into real estate?
EL: Since childhood, I have always had a love for interior spaces and exploring houses. Naturally, I would pursue an interior design major in college. This has helped me develop a keen eye for seeing homes that have hidden potential as well as the skill to recognize the best qualities in a home. Real Estate was a natural industry choice for me!
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
EL: Restauranteur. Having owned and operated a restaurant has provided me with exceptional skills in working with others. No matter the industry, client service is always my top priority!
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
EL: I LOVE small business and believe that small business development is established on true passion for the industry!
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
EL: Meeting people that become friends!
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
EL: Interior Design and home renovation knowledge!
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
EL: I truly value people over profits.

NR: Who would be your dream client?
EL: All clients are dream clients!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
EL: Find a great lender and seek out options for your loan.

EL: Spring
