In this installment, we chat with Kate Anderson, an agent with Nest Realty in Greenville, South Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Greenville?
Kate Anderson: I was born in New Jersey but raised in Greenville. I’ve been in the Greenville area since 1985.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
KA: I started out in property management during college, then worked in real estate advertising.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
KA: I have been in the real estate business since college.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
KA: The marketing opportunities to stay in touch with my past clients.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
KA: Taking care of my clients.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
KA: Renovations and decorating.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
KA: With my background in graphic design and visual art, I am able to help my clients with staging and seeing the
potential a home can offer.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
KA: Kind, thoughtful, caring, silly, and compassionate.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
KA: Matthew McConaughey or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson—they’d probably be a lot of fun.
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
KA: Save up as much money as you can! You can never be too prepared.
NR: What is your favorite season in your town?
KA: Christmas time is a lot of fun in Fountain Inn!
