In this installment, we chat with Kimberly Stelmok, an agent with Nest Realty in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Raleigh?
Kimberly Stelmok: College.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
KS: It was a natural transition from previous jobs. I’m a huge people person and relationship builder. I love helping people!
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
KS: Development, sales, and marketing.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
KS: Nest is a unique firm. Perfect size, and fabulous marketing and support. Family and friends work here.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
KS: Relationships with clients. The exciting pace. I get to meet with many different people everyday.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
KS: I’m a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
KS: I’m Genuine. I treat everyone like I would a family member when it comes to business.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
KS: Genuine, personable, sassy, straightforward, and strong.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
KS: Any sweet old person!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
KS: Plan ahead! Talk to a lender, then an experienced agent. Budget for all costs involved. Relax and let your lender and agent help guide you to your goal of homeownership. That’s what we’re here for!
NR: What is your favorite season in Raleigh?
KS: Summer.
