In this in installment, we chat with Kristi Estes, a Realtor at Nest Realty Atlanta.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Atlanta?
Kristi Estes: I am a Texan. Moving to Atlanta from Austin 6 years ago after being transferred.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
KE: Real estate was always of interest to me. After traveling throughout North America for over 20 years for my career, I felt the pull to stay put in my new location. I have never been happier with a decision.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
KE: Design Center Specialist which means I worked with Supermarket chains across NA helping them design their departments, select equipment and execute safe food programs inside their stores. With over 20 years experience in Project Management, I understand that every detail must be addressed, acted on, and closed to be successful and earn your clients trust. My attention to detail and my follow through skills are exactly what home buyers will get.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
KE: The people. Short and Simple, the culture fit.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
KE: Helping people through one of their biggest decisions and having the opportunity to view so many beautiful properties.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
KE: Intown neighborhoods, and, the fact that I have relocated across the country 4 times, I understand how stressful that can be.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
KE: I do this because I want to! I do this because I truly enjoy the work and meeting so many interesting people.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
KE: Honest, Accountable, Happy, Outgoing, Accepting
NR: Who would be your dream client?
KE: Chris Hemsworth, enough said.
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
KE: Live as close in proximity to your work and school as possible.
NR: What is your favorite season in Atlanta?
KE: Fall, coming from TX you don’t really get Fall. It is beautiful.
