In this installment, we chat with Lyndsey Lipford, a Broker with Nest Realty in Lake Norman, North Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Lake Norman?
Lyndsey Lipford: I first started college at UNC-Charlotte and fell in love with Lake Norman!
NR: How did you get into real estate?
LL: I have always had a passion for real estate, starting at a young age watching HGTV.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
LL: I was previously an insurance agent, which requires being very detailed oriented, client focused, and driven.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
LL: Meeting Broker in Charge, Amy Fraser, and seeing her passion for Nest.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
LL: Being able to see my clients find their dream home!
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
LL: Coming from an insurance background, I know exactly what to look for—updates to the roof, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. These systems can be costly, and it’s nice to have someone who can immediately spot red flags during the home buying process.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
LL: Friendly, considerate, personable, honest, and understanding.
NR: What is your favorite season in Lake Norman?
LL: Summer! Pool and lake time!
