In this installment, we chat with Megan Perry, an agent with Nest Realty in Greene County, Virginia.

Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Greene County?
Megan Perry: I was born and raised in Greene County.

NR: How did you get into real estate?
MP: I started as an office manager for a real estate firm and grew to love the business.

NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
MP: I managed a local payroll company. It set me up with the skills to manage real estate transactions.

NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
MP: Top notch marketing.

NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
MP: Helping first-time home buyers purchase their first home.

NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
Marketing listings!

NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
MP: I am not a salesperson! My job is to help buyers and sellers navigate the sales process and offer my professional advice along the way. Customer service is my top priority.

NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
MP: Bold, caring, vibrant, adventurous, and intuitive.

NR: Who would be your dream client?
MP: Keanu Reeves.

NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
MP: Don’t overextend yourself, and always think about resale.

NR: What is your favorite season in Greene County?
MP: Summer!
