In this installment, we chat with Sheri Davino, an agent with Nest Realty Greater Louisville.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to the area?
Sheri Davino: I am a native New Yorker who came to Louisville in 2015 for my husband’s job. I love music, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
SD: My mother was a real estate Broker in New York for more than 20 years.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
SD: A professional flutist. My years of training have taught me patience, dedication, and discipline—which are traits I use on a daily basis helping people through the home buying/selling process.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
SD: The community atmosphere and leadership.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
SD: Helping people transition to the next chapter in their lives.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
SD: I can assist a client in staging their home to sell.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
SD: Listening to people and learning about them and their needs. I strive to create a comfort level as their trusted advisor throughout the process of selling and/or buying.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
SD: Detail-oriented, friendly, committed, dedicated, and attentive.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
SD: Adam Sandler.
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
SD: Make sure you have some money saved for home improvements that may be necessary in your first couple years of home ownership.
