Meet the Agent: Stephanie Landers

In this installment, we chat with agent Stephanie Landers, a Broker with Nest Realty in Lake Norman, North Carolina.

Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Lake Norman?
Stephanie Landers: We moved to the area for job opportunities and fell in love.

NR: How did you get into real estate?
SL: Land management.

NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
SL: Environmental engineer—I managed many projects at once, which is very similar to real estate. I also worked for the county/state and that helped prepare me to understand how to work with the public.

NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
SL: I was drawn to Nest because of the smaller office feel, as well as the classiness of the marketing material. Nest also seems extremely organized and professional without being pretentious.

NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
SL: Helping people.

NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
SL: I do have land management and environmental expertise to offer aside from my general real estate knowledge.

NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
SL: I am very enthusiastic without being pushy. I am very analytical and will most likely over analyze and research.

NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
SL: Enthusiastic, loyal, adventurous, friendly, and focused.

NR: Who would be your dream client?
SL: Someone who does not ask too many questions.

NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
SL: Drive by the property of interest at different times of the day to be sure you are comfortable with the street/neighborhood.

NR: What is your favorite season in Lake Norman?
SL: Spring in Huntersville, North Carolina.
