Meet the Agents: Blake and Sandy Boyd

Agent: Blake and Sandy Boyd

We’re proud of the team of agents we’ve assembled here at Nest Realty. We think they’re pretty awesome, and we think you will too. During our “Meet the Agent” series, we sit down with our agents to learn more about them, what makes them tick, and why they’re passionate about the real estate industry. In this installment, we chat with Blake and Sandy Boyd, Brokers/Realtors® with Nest Realty in Asheville, North Carolina.

Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Asheville?
Blake & Sandy Boyd: Blake is from North Carolina and Sandy is from South Carolina, and we actually first met in middle school. We reunited post college and world travels. Then we both moved to WNC for graduate school and never left. Drawn in by the mountains and culture, we’ve now lived in West Asheville since 2005 with our two kids and dog.

NR: How did you get into real estate?
Blake & Sandy: After leaving her position in college athletics, Blake moved to Asheville to join Sandy. She always had an interest in real estate, and used that time to get her real estate license. She then joined The Buyer’s Agent of Asheville where she served buyer clients for 13 years. For Sandy, a tumultuous year left him eager for a change, so he earned his real estate license, and has found it to be a great fit. His experience in education and love for exploring and sharing the mountains works perfectly for his clients.

NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?

Real estate has been a natural fit for her as she helps align her clients with their goals while educating them about the current market and process.
