Your Noon Itinerary!

LUNCH + NINE MILE

AFTERNOON + WANDER THE RIVER ARTS DISTRICT

Keep the good vibrations going and head to Nine Mile on Montford Avenue for Caribbean inspired, vegetarian-friendly cuisine. The bright and flavorful dishes are matched by the vibrantpersonalities and decor. Try anything with their house-made spicy jerk seasoning, and substitute fresh, spiral-cut zucchini instead of linguine.

Noon

Take time to wander through the River Arts District, the collection of 180 artists studios that are housed in former factories along the French Broad River. Meander through the workingstudios and meet the artists as they sculpt, paint, and create. Be sure to pop into Benyo Potteryto watch potter Kristin Schoonover in action. Her studio is housed within the Clayspace Co-op, a gorgeous, bright, and inviting space that leaves you feeling inspired to find a craft of your own.
