Arleen Yobs helped me purchase a condo in Charlottesville in 2014. She was knowledgeable, professional, patient, sensitive to my needs, and willing to go the extra mile. I had such a good experience that I hired Arleen again in 2019 when I had to sell the unit in order to move out of town. We got an offer on the first day the condo went on the market, largely thanks to Arleen's efforts. Even months after the closing, when I realized I'd forgotten something of personal importance in the condo, she graciously helped me to get it back! I can't recommend Arleen highly enough -- she's a gem.

We had a complicated situation in trying to relocate to Charlottesville. Arleen was there every step of the way for us. She was able to keep us on track and expalined the nuances of Va Real Estate law to us as we went (we are from out-of-state.) She was able to find us "our home" in a very tight market. Arleen is absolutely wonderful! She helped us navigate a cross country housing hunt during a tricky point in the pandemic, and her decades of experience with the Charlottesville market, was very useful during the final craziness with a complex closing, and frankly helped us to close after the sellers made some last minute changes. She did all of this with humor, kindness and a smile. I continue to recommend her to friends who are looking to move, and if we ever (hopefully not for awhile!) move again, we will be reaching out to Arleen for her help!

Arleen was exceptionally helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. In addition to sharing her wisdom and expertise, I felt she listened and heard everything I said, and as a result I bought the best home I possibly could. After seeing numerous pre-existing homes, I contracted a home to be built and she helped me with every step along the way, including invaluable input when selecting the interiors, helping me understand and deal with every little detail that came up during the build including communicating directly with the builder when appropriate, through closing and even afterward. Can't recommend highly enough!

Arlene was invaluable during the sale of a residence I sold as a power of attorney for a friend. The home needed some major repairs and Arlene skillfully guided me in selecting repair expertise and in what repairs were the most important. We can't say enough about what Arleen did for us. After 21 years in a home where we raised three children, she helped us find the perfect new home -- a 2-acre lot with a house that dates back to 1928, our dream for the next phase of our lives. And she did all of it in the midst of a pandemic. Our house went on the market on March 13, 2020. But because she had helped us prepare the house for photography and showing, we had an offer in five days! By the end of May we had moved into our new home and officially closed in early June. Needless to say, selling a home and buying one is among the most stressful events in life, much less during a pandemic. But Arleen was calm, cool, composed and so very supportive. She took great care at every turn. We wouldn't work with any other realtor. If we could give her 10 stars we would!
