    We cannot recommend Bob highly enough. This was our first-ever house purchase. And Bob helped us find our dream home - it is seriously a dream. He was patient, kind, no-nonsense, and has a wonderful sense of humor which helped immeasurably through the process. Bob walked us through everything from understanding the neighborhood to talking through the mortgage process to meeting with the inspector when we couldn’t be there.     I would just say this… read all these glowing reviews and imagine working with Bob and his team and them actually being that excellent. Then actually work with Bob and find out they are even better than you imagined. That was our experience. Remarkable attention to detail, ability to handle awkward situations with grace, knowledgeable himself and also with many professional contacts so questions get answered and experienced eyes can inspect items that may get overlooked by less experienced realtors. I was in real estate myself when I was a younger man and I know the diligence it takes to maintain the level of excellence Bob exhibits. Always call Bob. Always.

    Bob and Laura were wonderful to deal with. We wanted to move from Ohio to Virginia and they helped every step of the way. Laura listened to everything we had to say and only showed us exactly what we wanted. She made the transition so much easier than I expected and kept in constant contact with us. She handled everything we could not be there for -- right up to closing!!

    Bob assisted us with purchasing our condo 12 years ago. He was recommended by a friend. Always sends reminders of time changes for daylight savings. As we resided out of town he assisted us with cleaning/receiving replacement appliances. Highly recommend Bob and his group for their attentive help.

    I cannot imagine a better realtor than Bob. He and his team were so excellent! This was my first home purchase, and Bob always explained various house materials, things to notice, what fixing a thing might cost as we walked through homes, which was very helpful in building up my homeowner knowledge. I know it is not the norm for the realtor to do that thorough of a walkthrough, and we made much better and more informed bids because of Bob doing this. Bob is extremely trustworthy and honest, and it was such a relief to know he wouldn't let us buy a bad house we'd regret. He worked with my somewhat restrictive house wishlist and kept me informed as soon as anything matching hit the market (and beforehand, if he knew something would be on the market soon), and was extremely responsive and flexible in scheduling us to see these homes—especially helpful given we were looking during a period when most houses would only be on the market for 2 days. He went out of his way in a number of ways, including driving us when needed. Bob also had a great sense of the local market, including what areas and homes might be opening soon, whether things were slowing down or not for a given season, what to expect from construction in various neighborhoods. He was also excellent at walking us through all the processes and making sure we were fully informed. He also did a lot to make sure we never felt pressured to bid, and counseled us on when to bid vs. when to wait. The market in Charlottesville was so difficult during the first years of the pandemic, and we're so grateful that Bob worked with us for the multiple years it took to find something just right (we were able to wait for the right thing; he'd also be excellent if you were working under a deadline to find a house, I'm certain).

    Bob was a real pro throughout the entire process. We never felt pressured and he helped us think through our options along the way. It was clear that he knew the local real estate market extremely well. We were house hunting from out of state and he helped us take virtual visits and set up flexible in-person visits, as well. He was a skillful negotiator. Similarly, Laura provided excellent service throughout the process. Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
