Jackie worked very hard to make sure everything was taken care of for my home purchase these past multiple months. She went above and beyond to make sure I was able to have everything sorted out and organized so that the purchase would go through. She contacted every party involved in the purchase including the seller's agent, titling company, my mortgage company, and others to ensure every component of the purchase was aligned and ready to go. She went to bat for me multiple times when my bank was behind in getting the loan paperwork submitted to the titling agency, and she worked very hard to get deadlines pushed back so that I was able to maintain an amazing interest rate with my specific bank. A friend recommended Jackie to me when I began my home search and she went beyond my expectations of what a realtor would do for me. 10/10 recommend Jackie for your home buying adventure!

Finding a good real estate agent makes ALL the difference, especially in the crazy COVID housing market. And Jackie Kingma proved again and again to be worlds above just "good." My husband and I were moving to Charlottesville from out of state and didn't know a ton about the area, the market, or where we wanted to be in the city. Jackie started meeting with us prior to our move to help us understand the process, the current market intricacies in Charlottesville, and begin to understand the areas we might like to call home. She took time and effort to educate us, guide us, and help us even prior to us stepping foot in town. Once we had officially moved, then began the fun process of house showings- lots of house showings. Jackie with kindness, grace, patience and her extremely wide knowledge base helped us learn the different neighborhoods in Charlottesville, the different types of homes this area is known for, and what the market was bearing at each and every moment. Even when houses in our price range were not coming to the market, she went out of her way to put together neighborhood tours for us so we could start ranking where we wanted to live even if we didn't have a home option in that area at that time. Fast forward after a lost offer, multiple almost offers, and lots of house tours, Jackie, using her connections, helped get us into a lovely older home that needed some new vision, TLC, and some sweat equity all before it went to market. Using the Nest Connections in town, we were able to put an offer on our home prior to it being listed under what we expected to pay and the offer was accepted!Once the offer was accepted, Jackie not only helped us go through the closing process, but also recommended local contractors, inspectors, and helped us figure out what we could do to continue to increase the resale value in the future. From start to finish, Jackie has gone above and beyond, to make us feel comfortable, support us, and be honest about what our budget can and couldn't get us in the market. I cannot say enough positive things about Jackie. We lucked into finding her to do a purchase remotely and her knowledge, professionalism and follow through were incredible. Heck, she even had a baby midway during our purchase process and that didn't stop her in the least...amazing! If you are even remotely considering Jackie as your real estate agent, your search is over. She is the absolute BEST! My husband and I were constantly WOWED by the exceptional service that Jackie provided.We had a very short window (two days) to scout and decide on a house to buy as we were moving to Charlottesville from out of the area. After being passed along by multiple real estate agents, Jackie graciously accepted us as her clients on short notice. Before meeting, we sent Jackie a long list of potential properties we would like to see that weekend. On our house-hunting day, our first impression of Jackie was spectacular. We were amazed that she had compiled an entire written "schedule" for the day including a map (and lunch break with local suggestions!!!) so that our short weekend visit was optimally productive. From that point on, she continued to impress us with her kind, professional demeanor. Her knowledge and recommendations for the area were/are unsurpassed, especially in regard to our specific needs for a dog-friendly area.
