Pantops: Just east of the City of Charlottesville, Pantops features grocery stores, shopping centers, subdivisions, and employment centers within minutes of Downtown.
Keswick and Pantops make up eastern Albemarle. Keswick is comprised of historic estates, horse farms, and acre-plus home sites. A bit closer in to Charlottesville, Pantops offers a more suburban feel with more shopping, restaurants, and more subdivisions than Keswick.

When Martha Jefferson hospital moved from downtown to Pantops in 2011, they upgraded their staff and patient experience to include nearly two miles of paved walking trails on the new campus. The hospital holds numerous charitable events throughout the year, including "Sunsets with Sentara," an annual summer event with live music, mountain views, and delicious local food on their Pantops campus.
