  • Breakfast: We love Birdwood Grill for a stack of pancakes (ask for Christy!) with a view and fun with shuffle board and the putting green for kids and adults alike. On Sundays, get an elaborate brunch at the Mill Room.
  • Lunch: Ivy Provisions, Foods of All Nations (ice cream cone included!), a picnic at King Family Vineyards, anything at nearby and bustling Barracks Road Shopping Center - Cava and Brazos Tacos are our go-to's! (Aside from Chik-fil-a, of course!)
  • Dinner: Fortunate to have the local dining gem Duners just down the road! In summer, enjoy Vivace's tree covered patio for great Italian and wood fired pizza. The new Fiesta Azteca restaurant is also only 5 minutes away!
  • Pub/Winery: Cheer on the Hoos and play cornhole at ProReNata Brewery. Grab a picnic and head to the gorgeous King Family Vineyard for free polo every Sunday May-Oct. Enjoy live music at Blue Mountain, a chef's table at Pippin Hill or Summer Concerts at Veritas Winery
  • Living Here Has Been: a dream. We've loved living in beautiful Charlottesville in our amazing Holkham neighborhood two minutes from Ivy Elementary! This place is a community, a family, a special place. Between fire pit nights and outdoor movies in summer to hiking the Narnia trails, enjoying front porch sitting to visit all of the kids biking by, the dog walkers and friends, our children have had the best childhood here. We have most enjoyed Halloween where we host a party, pitch a tent in the yard and light up the trees, for those without neighborhoods to trick or treat in - Holkham is the place to be! We also love the Holkham Illumination & Light Walk during the holidays. On snow days, when we don't go to nearby Wintergreen Resort to snow tube and ski, neighbors will sled in our backyard or meet in Narnia at the big hill. It is a festive, lively, and active neighborhood full of life in every season. We love our neighbors and know you will feel as though you've hit the jackpot too!
