Favorite Vineyard

I’m obsessed with Grey Ghost Vineyard and their fantastic wine. I love their Cabernet Sauvignon - it has a deep, diverse taste. Make sure you ask about the history of the REAL grey ghost. Beware, you may need to have another glass after hearing it.

Nest Picks

Copper Fox Distillery

Copper Fox Distillery offers one of the best tours in the Shenandoah Valley. You really get to see the entire process from farm to bottle. The owners are awesome, they really know their whiskey, and love to talk about it! Plus, the location is cozy and rustic.

Central Coffee Roasters

It’s some of the best coffee in the world. And for a buck a cup, it's the perfect place to stop for brewed coffee. Don't bother driving or even waiting at a chain in Warrenton.

River District Arts

You can really see what inspires our local artists and their creative process, whether it’s watercolor or oil, at the River District Arts. In this old apple-packing facility, you can visit 10 artist studios, an artisan market, and two galleries.
