Northern Guilford

Slightly north of the city, people who choose Northern Guilford County can enjoy larger lots, access to outdoor recreation, and the football culture of Northern Guilford High School—the Nighthawks have been North Carolina 3AA State Champions four times since 2010. Similar to Northwest Guilford, this is true farm country; you may get stuck behind a tractor on the road, but you’re never far from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Greensboro thanks to proximity to Route 29.

Key Features

Centrally Located to All of the Action: Northern Guilford gives you options. Route 29 runs right through this part of the county, giving easy access to the city lights of Downtown Greensboro and commuter opportunities in Rockingham County and Southern Virginia. There are numerous lakes and trails close by for nature lovers to get out and about, or you can spend a day expanding your horizons at the Greensboro Science Center.

Browns Summit: Housing stock in Browns Summit ranges from planned communities in a country setting to fully working farms. Proximity to Greensboro and Reidsville makes Browns Summit a popular choice for those who want a little more bang for their buck but who don’t want to give up the convenience of larger urban centers. Enjoy golf courses, parks, and rural landscapes, or hop on Route 29 for a quick drive into the city.
