Nest Picks

Davidson Farmer’s Market

The Davidson Farmer’s Market connects residents to local vendors in the greater Charlotte area. Regular trolleys make the market accessible to all people to peruse products from farms, nurseries, bakeries, and more. Be sure to leave with a bouquet from Herr Farm and some cheese from the Blue Goat Dairy!

Fisher Farm

Fisher Farm is a continuously evolving 200-acre park and nature preserve just outside of town. Explore, hike, and bike on miles of trails easily accessed by the Greenway. It's popular for stargazing and trail races as well.

Concerts on the Green

Free, family-oriented outdoor Concerts on the Green are enjoyed the first and third Sundays of the month from April to September. Pack a picnic, a comfortable chair, and your favorite beverage before settling onto the green space outside the Davidson Library for enjoyable tunes.
