    Rachel was an excellent to my family as we moved out of town and had to sell our home in Blacksburg. She was incredibly patient & sympathetic in answering our myriad questions and always followed up on our calls, texts, or emails - most often within 1 hour or, at most, within 24 hours. Her knowledge of the local market also helped us determine good strategy in our listing price and negotiating with the buyers. Last but not least, Rachel brought a positive attitude and personal touch with all of our interactions. My wife and I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone in the NRV.

    Rachel is AMAZING. When my fiancé and I moved to the area we were referred to a different realtor/real estate company. After over a year of looking we decided to switch to Nest and found Rachel. She changed everything for us! We found our home (that we love) within a few months (in a CRAZY market). I wholeheartedly believe that Rachel made the difference for us. She is knowledgeable, thorough, trustworthy, and kind. She helped us every step of the way through our real estate transaction. She knows the Southwest Virginia area and market and is motivated to meet her client’s needs. I can’t recommend her enough!

    I chose Rachel based on the reviews on this site. When I first met her, I was immediately with a friend. She was working on issues with my property even before she finished stepping out of her van! I knew my property would be a headache to sell, I had already tried to sell it the year before, and knew what I was up against. I needed someone who could help me to avoid the pitfalls, and navigate through the whole process. I have never felt more positive about a review than writing this one for Rachel. I can sum her up in one word - AWESOME. I've known quite a few realtors as my ex-husband was a contractor. Rachel is in a class of here own - she goes way above and beyond the call of duty to get the property sold. Mine was under contract within a month, even with all the work it needed, and the various title issues. If you are looking to buy or sell a property, this is the woman you should choose. I may be buying next year, something smaller, and it will definitely be Rachel that I call if I do!

    You won't find a better realtor in the NRV, or probably anywhere! Rachel is everything you want in a realtor: knowledgeable, ethical, responsive, well-connected, efficient, and an overall great human being. Rachel educated us and provided her guidance and expertise throughout the home selling process. She helped us set the right price on our home, which was significantly above what we expected, AND got us under contract within 48 hrs. She helped us navigate competing offers, and laid out our options clearly so that we could make informed decisions. Rachel stayed calm, positive, and professional, even when those around her weren't being cool (including us!). Rachel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we couldn't recommend her more highly.

    Rachel was an amazing realtor. She represented us as a buyer. She listened to our needs, encouraged us to look at lots of different types of houses, helped to set our expectations in the Blacksburg market and gave us local knowledge about neighborhoods.     I can't say enough about how wonderful Rachel is! I was house-hunting in a difficult market (college town during COVID--no one was moving!) with a limited budget. AND I was a first-time homebuyer! Rachel patiently walked me through every step of the process, from finding a home to making an offer to negotiating a contract to closing. She cheerfully answered a million-and-one questions, then answered them again as many times as I needed her to. She was always accessible--never more than a text, email, or phone call away. She's also kind, funny, and always a pleasure to work with.The home I bought was a fixer-upper and as we were negotiating the contract Rachel went *way* above and beyond the call of duty. She made appointments with inspectors and contractors to get estimates for repairs so I would know exactly what I was getting into. She has tons of experience in the Blacksburg market and knows all of the local craftsmen and repair people and her expertise made me confident in my purchase. She's continued to assist me even after the sale. She's been an absolute godsend.Rachel was recommended to me by friends who raved about her but even then I wasn't prepared for the level of service she provided. I've been recommending her to everyone I meet and will continue to do so, and if I ever sell my house she'll be the first person I call.

    I can't say enough good things about Rachel. Her knowledge of the local real estate market, neighborhoods, and pretty much everything house-related made finding the right house so much easier than it would have been. She (virtually) held our hands through every step of the contract process and even beyond closing has been amazing, helping us find contractors for repairs identified in the inspection. I would recommend her without hesitation.

    We cannot imagine you will find a better agent in the New River Valley than Rachel. Over a year of looking at countless properties she was always informed, extremely knowledgeable, honest and realistic, and always in good humor. We probably frustrated her at times but she never showed it. As regards the property, she worked extremely hard to find something she knew we would like and then made the process of buying the house clear and easy. We would give her six stars if we could.
