  • View: We have an almost unrestricted view of Paris Mountain in Blacksburg; you can see the sun rise over the mountain 365 days per year! It is spectacular.
  • Room: The favorite room is the sunroom; you can see the mountain and the backyard and it has a fantastic breeze in the summer time; you can open up all the windows when it's warm and it can be used during most seasons.
  • Tree: We have a redbud, dogwood, a Jane Magnolia (we planted), and crepe myrtles in the front yard. There are a row of Azaleas that bloom in the spring (bright red and pink) that are spectacular.
  • Walk: The neighborhood is very walkable. Most days you see a lot of your neighbors out and about on a walk; pretty much year-round. It is very kid friendly as well and there is a neighborhood park very close to the home. You can also take a hike in the woods!
  • Hike: There is a neighborhood trail near the quarry that is very nice; in the area in general there are tons of hikes and places to cycle. Pandapas Pond is an easy 15 minute drive away. Many people cycle to work from our neighborhood.

  • Living Here Has Been: I cannot imagine a better home in Blacksburg for our family. We have cherished this home and the neighborhood. It is such a wonderful place to live. A great kid and pet friendly neighborhood where you feel a part of the community and everyone is very welcome.
