06/01/2023 - rkornmdAdam Dickinson of Nest Realty took us on as clients as we contemplated a move to the Durham/Chapel Hill area for family reasons. �We were not convinced to make the move, and we were, to be honest, very picky clients. �We had certain things we needed in addition to what we wanted, and turned down several homes, including one we actually had an offer accepted on. �Throughout this, Adam remained patient and understanding. He worked very hard to incorporate our wishes into the homes he presented, and I believe he truly wanted to understand us so that he could find us a home we would be happy in. �Throughout, he remained low key and not aggressive. In addition, Adam has extensive knowledge of home mechanics and construction issues, which is invaluable to a purchaser.� He steered us away from many homes that had problems, and demonstrated deep knowledge of local conditions. Alternatively, when we spotted a home we wanted to see, Adam arranged it promptly with no questions asked.So, when Adam called me with a house that we should see, (after nine months of tolerating us!), I made some excuses regarding schedule, conflicts, etc. �In response, it was only one of two times Adam ever insisted on us seeing a home immediately, so I took notice. �We changed our schedules and went to see the home, which was in fact perfect.�We made a solid offer with his advice, it was accepted without hassle, and closed within 3 weeks. �Adam is the realtor you want if you need someone who is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and will be there when you need him.� Having bought and sold several homes, I can say with confidence that Adam is the best realtor we have ever used.� You won't be disappointed.� �Robert Korn, MD -

06/08/2023 - dregenoldWe connected with Adam shortly after our tenants moved out of our property which we had owned and rented for more than 35 years. The house was obviously in need of quite a bit of touchup and repairs, so Adam's first move was to put us in touch with a contractor who did a great job at a reasonable price of making the house look new again. After the repair work was done, Adam listed the property well above what we originally thought we would get for it, and within days an offer came through at an even higher price. There was some negotiation required as some additional repair work was suggested by the home inspector. But Adam handled the final negotiations professionally and we were still able to make far more from the sale than we had expected and recouped the expenses we had spent on fixing the house up. All in all, it was a great experience and we thank Adam for seeing it through.
