What is your “happy place”?
An under-the-radar thrift store full of treasures.
What was your first car?
1998 Honda Civic with the license plate "fulish" (My 16-year old self thought that was hilarious). I had that car till 2020!
What is your most exciting adventure to date?
Single-handedly dismantling and removing a brick chimney from the kitchen of my nearly 100-year-old house. Worth every bit of the 20+ hours it took!
What do you do in your spare time?
Take down chimneys (see previous question). I also like to run, swim, and bike around the area. The Triangle is beautiful!
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in life?
Perfect is the enemy of good. (Still working on it!)
Favorite things about Durham?
The welcoming and inclusive community, charming homes and neighborhoods, and all the fun and interesting bars and restaurants downtown.
