You might run find me walking around town, catching a show at DPAC, or having dinner at Pizzeria Toro. After seven years in Durham, I wake up every day feeling grateful to live this wonderful place.

Dance! I've been dancing since childhood and even minored in dance in college.

To say that I'm passionate about Durham restaurants would be an understatement. Right now, my go-to favorites are Pizzeria Toro and NuvoTaco.
Favorite Podcast?
Since I drive a lot for work, I am always listening to something new. Right now, I'm hooked on all things true crime, specifically, "Unraveled."
How do you unwind?
Cooking and baking have always been my go-to activities for reducing stress.
Favorite Holiday:
Christmas! A lot of my family live far away, but we ALWAYS gather at Christmas.

Not only did she not pressure us, but when my partner and I talked about conceding on things important to us given the low inventory, she encouraged us to slow down and remember our primary goals. Not once did it seem like she was just in it for the money or a quick sale. In fact, she presented us with a house that was well below our budget - this is the one that we ended up buying. Julia knew our goals and preferences and found us the perfect house in a neighborhood we hadn’t previously considered. Now that we’re in the house, it is certainly the house for us. It was clear that Julia’s primary goal was to ensure that we were content with our home purchase not just presently, but years down the line. Julia was thorough in examining houses, bringing up issues that we overlooked. She was also always willing to explore attics and crawl spaces to see the inner workings of the house. She’s a strong communicator and reliable - we always knew we could expect a prompt response whenever we reached out, even if she was out of town. When we finally found a house, she was adept at navigating the process, which involved bidding against another buyer. She offered sage advice during this stressful time and helped guide our course of action, ultimately leading to us getting the house. And she did all of this while on vacation. Not only is Julia a great realtor and has the utmost integrity, she’s a genuinely nice and interesting person, with whom we enjoyed spending time. When we closed on our house, we had pangs of loss because we would no longer be spending so much time with Julia. She made what could have been an excrutiating and complicated process very simple with her thorough knowledge of the area and the real estate market. She showed us many homes in several different areas. We ended up in what is , for us, the perfect location with the right size home for much less money than we expeceted to spend. We have worked with many agents over the years on both ends of real estate transactions. We have never had one that made us feel as if we were her most important clients.
