Prior to working in real estate, Kristen spent her career in the hospitality industry in varying capacities. Whether that meant working in restaurants or retail, or most recently on the sales team of a local wine importer/distributor, this experience has given Kristen the astute ability to problem-solve and, more importantly, foresee problems before they arise. Real estate is much like being in the trenches of a restaurant on a busy night, where time is of the essence and attention to detail is crucial for customer satisfaction. The same principles are applied to home buying and selling for Kristen, keeping communication a top priority to ensure her clients receive the best service possible.

Both optimistic and pragmatic, Kristen's approach to working with clients begins with getting to know them. She believes that clients are much more than just transactions, but instead, real people she has the honor of connecting and working with to make their dreams a reality. Making friends along the way is a big plus!

When Kristen isn't playing matchmaker for a family finding their dream home, you can find her spending her time with her husband and three young children, exploring the endless opportunities for fun and creativity that Durham and the Triangle have to offer, or on her never-ending search for the perfect wine pairing with fried chicken (spoiler alert: I think it is champagne!).
