Skill I'd Like To Have:

Making intricate latte art is not nearly as easy as it looks. I keep trying, but I know I could use professional help!

Most Fun Adventure:

Friends went to Italy a week before I did and created an intricate scavenger hunt all over Florence to find a tiny statue of David.

Dream Job In Another Life:

I love British TV. I'm not sure if being a Detective Inspector in the UK is as cool as it seems, but maybe!

    There aren't enough superlatives to describe Lee's extraordinary skill as a realtor. We needed to sell our home from out of state, and Lee gave us clear, unambiguous advice about how to prepare our house for sale, pricing, strategy for open house, etc. She facilitated all of the prep work without a hitch. We had multiple offers on the first day the house went on the market, so we didn't even need the open house! We got a terrific price, and she helped us navigate the typically stressful negotiations during the due diligence period without any hiccups. The combination of Lee's business acumen, extraordinary social skills, and deep knowledge of the Triangle market make her one of the best around. I'm a critical, demanding person, and I don't give good recommendations easily -- but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lee to anyone who is thinking of buying or selling in the Triangle.

    Lee did such an outstanding job that it's hard to express how impressed I am. I could go on and on about all the ways she made the experience better, but instead I'll just get to the most important part: my downtown Durham house sold for much more than it would have without her. If you get the chance to work with her, jump on it.

    As first time home buyers, Lee was incredibly patient in explaining the process with us, thorough in helping us prepare and get everything we needed into order, and incredibly available when we needed to (quite suddenly) make a last minute offer on a house. We've just now closed on that house and it could not have happened without Lee's knowledge, professionalism and good humor. We cannot recommend her high enough.

    We reached out to Lee prior to a whirlwind house hunting trip to Durham. We chatted via phone, email and texts to give her an idea of what we were looking for and she gave us an idea of what to expect in the current housing market. She suggested we go ahead and get in touch with a lender so that we would be “ready to go” in case we had to move fast with an offer. When we arrived in Durham, she drove us around and shared her extensive knowledge of the area and home buying in general. We were surprised to find a house that weekend, we put in an offer and were overall surprised at how quickly everything went. Lee was able to provide us recommendations and made arrangements for inspections and everything else we needed along the way. Overall, Lee was easy to work with, patient and communicative. She made herself available to fit our schedule and made the whole process go smoothly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lee to anyone looking to buy in Durham.

    We reached out to Lee when we decided to make a very last-minute offer on a house that was already in a multiple-offer situation. Lee was calm, communicative, attentive to details and she secured the house for us! While under contract, we were extremely busy, and Lee used her connections to get things done on our behalf quickly. From start to finish she was a strong strategist, advocate, and negotiator, while keeping our stress to a minimum. She made a difficult and unique transaction come off without a hitch, while making it all look and feel easy.

    We knew Lee for many years as our neighbor in Solterra Co-housing. Little did we know that she was a great realtor as well. Without her, we would never have found our dream home. In the current Chapel Hill market, you have to act fast and Lee dropped everything so we could look at a house we liked - then she stayed up into the night because the seller's agent said that the seller would decide on an offer the next morning. She gave us just the right advice as to what to put into our offer - and lo and behold, we got our house. But she didn't stop there. The inspection turned up a few problems, normal issues on a 30 year old house. Lee knew exactly how to negotiate and got us a very fair agreement from the seller to help us with some of the needed repairs. We can recommend Lee whole-heartedly. She has a great sense of humor and made the rather trying process of founding a house in this seller's market rather fun.

    I just purchased my first home in April and Lee Coggins was my realtor. Before engaging in this process I had no knowledge about purchasing a home and Lee explained everything and walked me through every step of the way. She’s was easily accessible, quickly responsive, and extremely involved. Her experience was evident and she made sure I got the best deal possible.
