Definitely DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center. Their touring Broadway shows are amazing. They also attract top music groups, a special treat with their fantastic acoustics.

Favorite Triangle hiking spots:

We have many options. Occoneechee State Park and Eno River State Park. Visit Duke Gardens in spring time or stroll through NC Botanical Gardens.

Most exciting adventure to date?

My challenging solo journey walking Camino de Santiago -- Portugal to Spain. I met many interesting people from all over the world. It was unforgettable.

Name a famous person you would like to work with?

Definitely Steve Martin. We would laugh the whole time. He would need a music room and plenty of wall space for his art collection.

Mountains or beach?

My answer is emphatically BOTH! The Triangle Area is perfectly located offering easy access for weekends at the beach or a trip to the mountains.

What is my happy place?

Home with my family in Hillsborough, a popular small town known for attracting artists and writers, with a vibrant downtown scene, restaurants, and events.

    We have both bought and sold several homes with Pat over the years as our needs and life situation have changed. She always gives us great personal attention and goes the extra mile.     We very recently worked with Pat Dillon as our "Buyers" Realtor for our move to the Cary, NC area. In spite of an extremely challenging market for buyers - Pat stayed extremely optimistic and focused through the entire process. Pat paid very close attention to our likes and dislikes from the very first day and helped us to target houses and areas that mostly met our criteria. Pat made herself available to the best of her ability and was very supportive of our logistics situation of traveling 3 hours each time we came up to look at homes - sometimes covering a very wide geographic area in concentrated time frames - knowing that good homes don't last long in this market. Pat also was not shy to point out both positives and more importantly to us as potential buyers, area's that might need attention or posed risk for us-- something that was most critical to our needs and was a priority characteristic for us. As we reached the point of making offers on homes -- Pat demonstrated her knowledge of the markets and offered strategic advice regarding how we might proceed - but at the same time always allowed and encouraged us to make the final decisions. When we were challenged with difficult calls, Pat would provide realistic options and pathways that we could potentially follow to meet our objectives. Most important to us - we found that the old saying that all realtors work for the "Sellers" did not hold true with Pat. It was very clear that during the hard negotiations - Pat was definitely focused on our best interests and trying to drive the best potential outcome for us -- the buyers. As a result -- we would, without any reservation, highly recommend Pat as a "buyers Realtor" based on our very positive experiences. Very Sincerely - Wayne and Jaclyn Gonzalez- Successful Buyers !

    Pat is a down to earth, knowledgable, and hard working realtor who we have had the pleasure of working with twice now (some of best friends down the street had recommended her). I wouldn't say we are experienced home buyers/sellers, even after buying a home twice, so her counsel has been invaluable. Our latest transaction was selling a larger piece of vacant land which we had been holding onto thinking we would build a final homestead on it, but then COVID hit, a bunch of lifes plans changed, and we gave her a ring to just brainstorm thoughts with us. We talked through the many pros and cons of selling/holding, which buyers we would prefer, and just how we felt. That last part is as important as any other. She listens and doesn't pressure you to lean any direction, she just gives you honest opinions based on her decades of experience. So about a month ago we decided to list that property, after thinking it over for several months, and not only did it sell in under a week, but we had 5 competing offers which surpassed all of our expectations. That is why I am writing this as a five star review. I don't think we could have had a better experience.

    Pat exceeded our expectations! At a time when the market had already slowed down, houses were taking weeks to months to sell, and offers were below asking, by following Pat's advice and expertise, we received a full price offer, the 2nd day on the market. All of Pat's upgrade suggestions were on target and her decorating recommendations were perfect. We made back way more than the cost of all the flooring, bathroom, kitchen, and exterior upgrades that we implemented based upon her advice. Pat's professionalism shined throughout.
