Passion. Expertise. Drive. Dedication.
Rachel's natural energy and enthusiasm for life comes through in every relationship that she develops with her clients. With her background in psychology and life-long love of helping others, Rachel is well-suited to guide her buyers and sellers through this complicated market.
Originally from Arizona, educated in California, with stints in Washington DC, Chicago, and New York, Rachel can say with confidence that the Triangle is, by far, her favorite place to live. What started as a temporary relocation to support her husband's medical career at Duke has turned into the best 17 years of her life.
Rachel loves the art of reinvention and relishes the opportunity to don a number of different hats. After getting her BS in psychology from UCSD, and working in the tech sector for a year, Rachel became a flight attendant for American Airlines. In 2004, a snowboarding accident left her unable to walk and unable to return to flying. Rachel spent a year in physical rehab at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, an experience that inspired her to go to Physical Therapy School at UNC, where she also completed a Masters in Public Health. For 10 years, Rachel worked at Duke Regional Hospital while raising her three sons and baby daughter (now in kindergarten!) with her husband.
With her variety of work and life experiences and her background in caring for her patients and their families, Rachel brings a rich perspective to her clients and their needs. She finds a deep satisfaction in helping her clients succeed by listening to and learning about their desires and priorities, and delivering the best individually-focused service. In life and in real estate, Rachel's passion, dedication, and drive propel her to achieve in all that she chooses to embark upon.
