Hillsborough is widely considered one of the best places to live in NC, with its rich history as the county seat of Orange County, beautiful setting along the Eno River, and fast access in either direction to RTP or the Triad. From Last Friday's Art Walks to live music, farmers markets, festivals to food trucks, there is always something going on in Hillsborough. It’s become a tourist destination with a small town feel, a haven for artists and writers and a fabulous place to live. You’ll find architecturally significant historic homes near downtown and a wide collection of diverse home styles from planned communities to individual farms set on the lush rolling hills of Orange County.
