What is your happy place?
My happy place is at home with a fire, a great meal (and dessert), playing a board game with my husband and kids.
What are your favorite foods?
Even in a fancy restaurant, I can't say no to a cheeseburger! Finding the best yeast donuts is my goal in any new place.
What do you do in your spare time?
I love field trips! I've been on some crazy ones...Italy, western national parks, Boston, and even Williamsburg for a week with 45 5th graders!
What is the greatest lesson you have learned in life?
Never say never. When I say I would absolutely never do something, that very thing often comes to pass!
What is your most exciting adventure to date?
I went paragliding over the Alps! It was amazing, as was every day of our whirlwind tour of Switzerland!
Future dream?
I would like to live short-term in France. I definitely want to come home but want to learn the language and do more than visit.
