Downtown: Two blocks packed with classic charm, Downtown Vinton is a great destination for a stroll. You can grab lunch, pop into the library, or find some quiet reflection at the War Memorial. You'll be sure to see cars parked along the roadsides with bumper stickers that say "TOV" (Town of Vinton).
Built as a memorial to remember those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice during World War II, the Vinton War Memorial served as a library and meeting space for the town. After undergoing a major renovation in 2007, the Memorial has also become a destination for events and meetings.
The Lancerlot Center, affectionately known as "The Lot," is an 85,000 square foot complex housing a variety of different sports, health and wellness offerings.
