Carolina Place/Market Street

This area is known for its bungalow-style and unique historic homes. Carolina Place, located off Market St., was built from 1906 to the beginning of World War II, which made Carolina Place the first suburban residential neighborhood in Wilmington. The tree-lined sidewalks and small gardens make this area a very charming place to be.

Best Park in the Best Neighborhood

Ok, I am biased, but Wallace Park at the corner of Market and 21st is absolutely amazing. With its old oaks along the creek and a playground that always has kids, it is the best gem in a great neighborhood.
