- Walk: I love early morning and early evening walks around the neighborhood. The historic downtown homes are nice to admire and I never get old of walking along the riverwalk boardwalk.
- Beach: We love Wrightsville Beach! It is one of the nicest beaches I’ve seen.
- Breakfast: Castle Street has some great breakfast spots, like Jester’s Cafe, Castle Street Kitchen, and RX but my favorite downtown brunch is the Basics.
- Lunch: Cheesesmith and Mess Hall in the Cargo district are two newer spots I’ve enjoyed lately and are very close to the house.
- Dinner: There are so many good restaurants nearby that it would be hard to narrow down. My recent favorite for a nice meal is Savorez.
- Pub/Winery: Downtown Wilmington is full of bars and breweries that are all within walking or biking distance from the house.
- Living Here Has Been: I have loved living on Magnolia St. The neighbors on the block are always friendly, the house has both a front and back porch to enjoy the outdoors, and downtown shops and restaurants are just a walk away.
